Serve this thick, rich nutty smoothie in a cappuccino mug. A morning smoothie, it has healthy fats, and protein (from the nuts, chia, and hemp hearts), along with delicious berries. Adding healthy fats to a sweet berry and banana smoothie balances out the fruit sugars and help keep your blood sugars even.


  • 1⁄2 cup plant milk
  • 1⁄2 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1⁄3 cup raw nuts (almonds, cashews, hazelnuts)
  • 1 tablespoon ground chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon hemp hearts
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon omega 3 oil
